Care

To maintain the integrity of your waxed cotton garment, avoid machine washing, dry cleaning, and exposure to hot water or strong detergents, as these can damage the protective wax coating. For general cleaning, simply rinse off dirt and debris by hand using cold water, then allow the item to air dry naturally. When dealing with stains, gently buff the affected area with a damp cloth or soft-bristled brush. For more stubborn marks, apply a small amount of castile soap and rinse with lukewarm water. After spot cleaning, it's important to re-wax the treated area then hang the garment to air dry in a warm location. To preserve your Copperas jacket, never iron, bleach, or subject it to artificial heat sources, open flames, or radiators. By following these care instructions, you'll ensure your waxed cotton product remains weatherproof and durable for years to come.
