“The coldest spot in the continental U.S. today is in New York's Adirondack Mountains.”  This is not a rare headline.  Cold is at the core of Adirondack winters and the heart of our design for the Ha-De-Ron-Dah Parka.  We spent nearly two years developing and testing this jacket and our proprietary TahawusTec™ synthetic fill to keep you warm during the windiest, wettest, and coldest conditions. 

The Ha-De-Ron-Dah Parka is constructed using layers of the most advanced and environmentally-responsible surface and fill technologies to keep you warmer, drier, and happier: 

94% Recycled Polyester, 6% Spandex Thermoblasted Shell

The outer hardshell,  finished with durable water repellent (DWR) made without perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs/PFAS), sheds snow, rain, and sleet while remaining breathable and flexible.

100% Recycled Fleece Membrane

Your second layer of defense is 100% recycled wind-impenetrable fleece.

TahawusTec™ Synthetic Fill

Better-suited for wet or damp conditions than goose or other synthetic downs, your core warmth comes from our proprietary TahawusTec™ fill, field-tested in all conditions to keep you toasty and dry. 

PFC-Free Water Repellent Lining

A breathable and waterproof, PFC-free polyester lining against your base layer.

Care

For optimal care of your garment, begin by removing the fur trim, which should be cleaned separately by a professional fur cleaner. The main body of the item can be machine washed using cold water on a delicate cycle, ensuring gentle treatment of the fabric. After washing, hang the garment to dry naturally, allowing it to air out completely. To maintain the garment's shape and appearance, avoid using an iron or subjecting it to dry cleaning processes. By following these simple care instructions, you'll help preserve the quality and longevity of both the fur trim and the main body of your garment.
